Ray depth per object/material



how can i set the ray depth (diffuse, specular) per object or material?
and the same question for samples.


Hi @CuRZ4,
appleseed does not have currently per object ray-type bounce limits or samples.
But it has a total light (direct+indirect) samples multiplier per camera ray for each surface shader. This is not yet exposed in the blender plugin but accessible within appleseed studio (seee screenshot, on the right side the slider with Lighting Samples)
