Thank you! and no @Mango, I used textured translucency in asStandardSurface, it works pretty well for thin surfaces.

Hey there, I used an emitting light sphere. At that time, photometric lights or standard were not supported, but it gave pretty much good results!

Just to clarify. Currently appleseed-Max supports all of Max Standard Lights
Sun and sky environmental lighting is implemented via our own appleseedSky node which provides adjustable sun and sky light (Hosek-Wilkie analytical model).
Max Photometric Lights are currently not supported.
